The Grandeur of the Seas lives up to her name with a multitude of dining and entertainment options. The multilevel Centrum, which serves as the hub of this ship, is an airy, light-filled atrium with gliding glass elevators, palm trees, panoramic windows and gleaming brass; it’s the perfect spot to catch up with friends, do a little shopping or just watch the day go by. From here, the ship is your playground offering activities galore. Try your luck at the casino, take a jog around the track or spend a few pampering hours in the full-service spa. A nice variety of themed bars and lounges are popular with guests in the evening. Gather for a pre-dinner cocktail in the convivial Schooner Bar, toast to a special occasion in the Champagne Bar or enjoy the spectacular views of the signature Viking Crown Lounge; floating 11 decks above the sea, it’s an observation point by day and a pulsating dance club at night. Additional ship highlights include a solarium with indoor/outdoor pool and sliding roof, a showroom and rock-climbing wall. Kids will enjoy the Adventure Ocean youth facilities, which provide round-the-clock entertainment and fun for kids ages 3 to 17 and private lounge areas for teens.
